Collaborative Curricular Doctoral Program in Science, Technology and Environment

Doctoral Program legally authorized by the Cuban Ministry of Higher Education and linked to the InSTEC educative and scientific strategy, aiming at the formation of the highest advanced values of the scientific knowledge needed for a continuous development of science, technology, technological innovation, and the society in general. The Program also aims at the formation of high rank scientific leaders who may, in the first place, lead researches related to the Management of Science, Technology and Environment; and in the second place, lead institutions which mission is that of knowledge production and management. The Program ́s main investigation lines include: theory, methodology and practice of the management of science, technology and environment, environmental management and vulnerability as facing environmental changes and extreme meteorological events, the formation and development of human resources and its efficiency and economic impact in science, technology and environmental systems, as well as in the management of communication and information technology. Another important investigation line of the Program is the development of high technology products, among others.

Collaborative Curricular Doctoral Program in Energy Technologies

Tutor-assisted Doctoral Program, legally approved by the Cuban Ministry of Higher Education and linked to the InSTEC educative and scientific strategy, aiming at the formation of the highest advanced values of the scientific knowledge in the branches of Nuclear, Atomic and Molecular Physics. The Program main investigation lines are: theoretical and experimental nuclear physics (the structure of the atomic nucleus, nuclear models, nuclear reactions, elementary particles physics, nuclear astrophysics, super heavy elements, ionizing radiations interactions with matter, theoretical and experimental physics of nuclear interactions at average and high energy levels, modeling and simulation of radioactive nuclear processes, applied nuclear physics, and theoretical and experimental, nuclear, atomic and molecular physics (obtaining and/or calculation of rotational, vibrational and electronic spectrums in gaseous and condensed phases; dynamic of diabatic and adiabatic processes in gaseous and condensed phases, time-bound and non-time-bound methods, obtaining and/or calculation of potential energy surfaces, confinement or relaxation of energy processes in gaseous and condensed phases, dynamic of dissipating and stochastic processes, processes which take place on surfaces, diffusion, molecular recombination, and periodic system.

Tutor-assisted Doctoral Program in Radiochemistry

Tutor-assisted Doctoral Program, legally approved by the Cuban Ministry of Higher Education and linked to the InSTEC educative and scientific strategy, aiming at the formation of the highest advanced values of the scientific knowledge in the branches of Radiochemistry. The Program main investigation lines are: radiation chemistry, development of radioisotopic generators, designing, obtaining and applying of labeled
compounds and radiopharmac, radiopharmacology, radioimmuneanalysis, development of radiotracers, radiochemist separation and concentration methods, among others.

Tutor-assisted Doctoral Program, legally approved by the Cuban Ministry of Higher Education and linked to the InSTEC educative and scientific strategy, aiming at the formation of the highest advanced values of the scientific knowledge in the branches of Nuclear Technology. The Program main investigation lines are: advanced nuclear reactors, designing and modeling of nuclear and radioactive facilities, safety and risks
in nuclear and radioactive facilities, radiological dosimetry and protection, among others.
